An intricate 19th century Japanese polychrome woodblock print, depicting a female courtesan playing the shamisen. The artist's signature and seal can be seen to the lower edge. Well-presented in a simple gilt-effect frame with card mount. On handmade paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are several darker stains to the upper right corner. The frame and mount are in fine condition.
