This serene Neapolitan School scene depicts the island of Ischia rising majestically in the background, its slopes rendered in soft peach and blue tones beneath a hazy sky. In the foreground, local fishermen occupy a rowing boat whilst various sailing vessels dot the calm waters, creating a picturesque tableau of daily life. Condition
Light foxing to the paper. Light debris caught behind the frame's glazing. The frame has minor surface wear, including small chips to the outer veneer edge. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition for its age.
