An exquisite 19th Century Cantonese botanical painting on mulberry pith paper. The delicate artwork has been fixed at the corners to backing card. This piece is well presented in a green card mount and modern wood frame with gilt detail. Unsigned.
Condition
There are a number of tears across the upper area of the fragile substrate. Also with some areas of discolouration and foxing spots, as shown in photos. With two knocks to the frame on the left side.
