A fast flowing river runs through the valley with towering hills on either side. Signed to the lower left hand corner. Presented in a contemporary gilt and bronze effect frame. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the surface of the the painting. In particular towards the top right hand corner, and areas of white. Signs of wear and tear to the frame, in particular to the lower right hand corner where a piece has broken away.
