Fine Japanese Original 19th Century Watercolour. An artist's mark to the upper right quadrant. Painted on thin fibrous laid paper, fixed to a piece of backing card. On laid. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. It looks like the picture has torn horizontally across the centre, and the top half has been firmly fixed to the backing card, and the lower half has been fixed under this. The tear is not immediately noticeable.
