Fine c.1830 Watercolour - Arncliffe

Description

A view towards the village of Arncliffe in the Yorkshire Dales. Watermarked with a partially cropped date, '183[...]. There is a label inscribed with the location on the verso, cut from the remnants of a sketchbook in which the painting was previously presented. Unsigned. On watermarked Whatman wove.

Condition

There is some mild discolouration but overall in very good condition for a picture of this age.
