Artist Biography
Ferelith was born in Scotland, the elder daughter of a successful sculptor mother and a Highland Estate owner father of Italian/South African descent.
Ferelith and her husband have travelled extensively in India, where she finds inspiration for her mixed media collages. Train tickets, old stamps, examples of calligraphy, newspapers, cigarette packets that are often picked up in the street all prove to be valuable materials that she incorporates into her work.
Ferelith has illustrated books on travel and cookery; exhibited in Scotland, London, Hampshire and India; taught art groups and held workshops, and has always kept an illustrated travel journal.
