A study of two women in finely draped clothing, unmistakably mid-century in style yet with something less easily placed about it. The composition has an unusual quality, and the cropping suggests it may possibly have been cut from a larger work, which perhaps explains the immediacy of the two figures and the way the drapery carries the design.
