A wonderfully detailed and vibrant set of three ornithological studies. from left to right, the lesser spotted woodpecker, a wry neck and a nuthatch. The artist clearly has a sound understanding of the anatomy of the subjects and has rendered their plumes in wonderful colour.
The artist has signed each study and they have been presented as a triptych in a gilt effect frame with an embossed, cream card mount, with a green inner window and glazing. There is a label at the back with information about the birds.
On wove.The paintings are in fine condition. The frame has some scuffing and scratching to the gilt.
