Description
A lithograph depicting the Norman Staircase at Canterbury Cathedral. Built around 1160, in the time of Prior Wilbert, it can reasonably claim to be the best-preserved Norman staircase in England. Initialled and dated in plate to the lower-left corner. Inscribed with the title in graphite to the lower-left edge. Signed indistinctly in graphite to the lower-right edge. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Otherwise in very good condition.
