A fine 19th century watercolour depicting two figures disappointed with their catch at their usual rocky river spot. The two men can be seen stand to the right of the scene astonished with the dismal catch of two. The painting has been monogrammed by the artist to the lower left and presented in a gilt-effect frame with a new card mount. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and dirtying to the watercolour paper. There is a chip in the gilt-effect frame to the left hand edge.
