Original Early 20th Century . This rug has a knot count of 524 knots per square inch, or a total of more than 1 million knots. The pile is very thick and in general shows little wear. There is damage along one edge, probably due to a dog, and there are a couple of small spots in the middle which are probably moth damage. So it needs repair, but it will be a very fine rug indeed.
