Estella Louise M. Canziani painter and illustrator born in Milan the daughter of fairy painter Louisa Starr Canziani. Some authorities give her birthplace as London, however, Italian sources state that she originated from Italy. She studied at Cope and Nichol School nicknamed Capernico in South Kensington, London and at the Royal Academy Schools. She was a member of the Society of Mural Decorators and Painters in Tempera, the Women's Guild of Arts and an active member of the Folk-Lore Society. She exhibited at the RA, SWA, RMS, RI, RBA and the Walker's Gallery, Bond Street, London and during World War I worked as a medical illustrator. Nowadays her work is work is reproduced by the Medici Society.
