There are some marks to the substrate including tape marks around the edges and a vertical watermark to the left edge of the portrait. Overall in good condition.

Artist Biography
Ernest Benham Dielman (1893-1972) was an American painter and sculptor, often of figures and groups of exotic animals. From 1928 until 1933 he exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries and the Salon d'Automne in Paris. His father was the German-American portrait and figure painter Frederick Dielman (1847-1935).
