Enid Marjorie Vale (1890-1968) was a painter born in Wolverhampton. She attended Wolverhampton School of Art and then furthered her education at Birmingham School of Art during the early years of the 20th century. Vale was a prolific exhibitor and showed at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Walker Art Gallery, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, Royal Scottish Academy and at the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers, who elected her an Associate member in 1919. The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists also elected her to their ranks but not until 1930. The BMAG hold examples of her work.
