Elspeth Gertrude Eagle Clark (1876-1948) is most well-known for being a pioneer in Cluster Puzzle History. A Cluster Puzzle is a type of puzzle in which is made out of a wider variety of shapes than a standard jig-saw, with often elaborate subjects made of high-quality wood.
She was also an accomplished watercolour artist, with some of her pieces residing in the Towner Gallery's collection in Eastbourne.
