Elizabeth Cameron was born in Somerset in 1915. Her botanical paintings were shown at the Hunt-Mellon Botanical Institute in Pittsburgh and the Horticultural Societies of New York and Boston. She had a number of solo exhibitions in London, and Allangrange Prints regularly took a stand at Chelsea flower show and Hampton Court. She received three Gold and three Silver medals from the Royal Horticultural Society in recognition of her accuracy of botanical detail and pictorial excellence.
