The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some creasing and marks to the backing card, as well as a small tear to the lower left-hand corner.

Artist Biography
Elizabeth Armsden was a little known artist, living in Dorset for most of her career in the early 20th Century. She worked at Studland in Dorset and shared a studio with A.H. Berens. Her work was published by 'The Artist' and she was known to have exhibited in both London and Paris.
