Painter born in Gravesend, Kent, the eldest son of artist Edward Tucker and a brother to artists Arthur Tucker, Frederick Tucker and Hubert Coutts. Taught by his father he worked in his own name and also under the pseudonym of ‘Edward Arden’ to avoid confusion with his father. A founder member of the Lake Artists Society, he exhibited at the RA, RBA, RHA, RI and RSA. Examples of his work are in the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter.
