Artist Biography
Edward Francis Wells was an English painter and draughtsman, born in Calcutta, India, but spent his early life in Dorset. He studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1893-4 and the Royal Academy Schools (Creswick Prize 1899). Exhibited RA, RI, ROI and RHA with solo exhibitions at Walker's Galleries
