Description

A pretty sun dappled woodland scene, showing a path lined with large overhanging trees with shafting light filtering through onto the ground. The artist has inscribed and initialed on the wooden stretchers at the reverse. On canvas.

Condition

There is some craquelure to areas of the paint and a small loss in the lower right corner, although, due to the texture and colour of the painting, this is hardly visible. There is a slight dent to the canvas in the lower right quadrant. There are several scratches to the paint across the surface.
