Edith M. Barratt - A fine watercolour entitled The Black Lynn on the ForthFrom an album of watercolours. On the inside cover of the album is the inscription Edith M Barratt - June 24- 1887. Because these watercolours have always been in an album, they have not been exposed to light, smoke, dust, or other noxious influences. They retain their freshness and look far newer than their age. In general the condition is excellent. Almost all are inscribed but I have great difficulty reading her handwriting. Each painting is laid down on heavy card.
