An fine late 19th Century etching showing an idyllic farm scene, showing the picturesque serenity of rural life. The artist has signed in graphite at the lower edge. There is a remarque of a watermill and bare tree at the lower edge, indicating this to be an early original strike. The etching is on chin colle laid to heavy wove. On chin colle laid to wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The original plate lines are in tact.
