A charming early 20th Century woodcut showing a group of tree fellers sitting on the woodland floor, eating their lunches and chatting jovially. Their cart horse stand around them with their feeding bags on and the huge timbers loaded onto a cart behind them. The artist has monogrammed in plate at the lower right corner. There is a lengthy inscription at the reverse from a previous owner that bears an illegible attribution. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Three small tears to the lower half and a vertical crease down the left side.
