Description

A charming early 20th Century oil scene showing a rustic farm with a woman sitting outside the outbuildings with a child on her lap. The painting is unsigned and presented in a 20th Century pale gilt frame with beaded strap work and a linen slip. On re-lined canvas.

Condition

Inspection under UV light reveals some restoration. There is a loss to the paint and gesso to the upper left quadrant.
