From a collection of oil paintings produced for Arthur Burkhart, Fine Art Publisher, Dominion House, Bartholomew Close London EC1 between about 1915 and 1930. These original paintings were reproduced in various publications, on greeting cards, and in art prints. Few are signed, most have the Burkart stamp on the back, and all are from the Burkart Archive. Most are on heavy card unless otherwise specified. Condition is generally excellent because these have never been displayed. Burkart used various professional artists for these paintings. Some were on his staff as studio artists and others worked on contract. These paintings are quite large and will be impressive when properly framed.
