A vibrant Japanese woodblock showing a kabuki (traditional Japanese actor) with a sheathed katana. Blocks of kanji appear above the actor's head. The print is on chirimengami (japanese crepe paper) which was a paper used to better hold colour for more vibrant and durable prints. The print is presented in a smart off white card mount.
Unsigned.The condition is typical for a picture of this age. There is a small watermark at the top left corner and a loss to the right hand edge as well as a black mark above the figure's head.
