A vibrant Japanese woodblock showing a woman and a fisherman on a beach both wearing mino (traditional rain proof straw clothing). The print is on chirimengami (Japanese crepe paper) which was a paper used to better hold colour for more vibrant and durable prints. The print is presented in a smart off white card mount. Unsigned. On chirimengami.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a watermark to the lower left quadrant and some bleeding of colour up the right hand side of the print.
