A fine pair of engravings after paintings by notable classical painters. One engraving shows a mother and two children, resting from harvesting hops, to create a hop crown for the little girl. The other is a fine portrait after the original painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence, of the Princess Amelia. Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. On the hops engraving, there are two foxed spots at the lower edge, outside the image boundaries.
