A delightful study depicting the river's edge on a summer's day. A large barge is moored in the forefront of the composition while smaller sailing boats float in the distance. A small thatched cottage, possibly belonging to the figures on the barge is positioned on the river bank. Well presented in a double card mount and gilt effect frame. Unsigned. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor foxing. Minor marks to the frame.
