A fine example of an early 19th Century landscape, showing a large sailboat and a steam boat on the water at the shores of the Solent region, of the coast of the Isle OF Wight. A woman walks towards a shore side house at the right. The painting is unsigned on board and presented in a gilt frame with swept and pierced rail and corners with foliate details. The painting can be dated c.1830s by the supplier's label on the reverse of the board. On board.Condition
