An exquisite Georgian portrait miniature in watercolour, depicting a lady in a blue dress and elaborate ribbon and lace bonnet. Her gold jewellery and finely detailed lace denotes her affluence and status. Unsigned. Well presented in a period black papier mache frame with upper acorn hanging ring.

In remarkably good condition for a picture of this age. Some very minor debris behind the glazing. Light crazing to the surface of the frame.
