Description

A very fine and delicately executed watercolor portrait of a pretty young woman in fashionable late Georgian/early Victorian dress with hair in the ringlet style, typical of the 1830s. The artist has initialed to the lower left and the painting has been presented in a gilt frame with egg and leaf molding. On WOVE.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some very minor foxing. Frame is in fine condition.
