Description

A vibrant impressionistic study of the world renowned Causey Arch, first built in 1725. This particular railway bridge still holds the statue of the oldest railway bridge in the world. Signed by the artist to the lower left. The painting has been well-presented in a decorative gilt-effect frame with cream linen slip. On canvas laid to board.

Condition

Visible signs of discoloration to the frame's linen slip. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
