Description

A pen and ink portrait of Sir Charles Legard, the Chief Justice of (Ceylon) Sri Lanka from 1902-1906. Inscribed on the reverse with the artists name and address 'Mr. Ruddock, Harrow Place', and the name of the sitter. On wove laid to card. Signed and dated.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration surface scratches and foxing.
