A charming and delicate pastel landscape, by the artist E.J. Wilson, depicting the small stone Ashness Bridge and wider landscape in the Lake District, Northwest England. Derwentwater can be seen in the background. The artist has layered colours to create richer tones in the foreground. Inscribed to the reverse 'Lake District' and signed in the lower right corner. Well-presented in a gilt mount with ornate detailing. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On wove.

In fine condition overall. Some slight scuffing to the corners of the frame.
