Description

This charming 19th-century oil depicts an intimate 18th-century parlour scene. Husband and wife inhabit the richly furnished interior, whilst their King Charles spaniel rests at their feet. To the background, a parrot can be seen perching patiently on its cage. Presented in a contemporary black frame with gilt inner. Unsigned. On tin.

Condition

There is slight discolouration to the varnish. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition. There are some minor marks to the frame.
