A charming Dutch school scene depicting a herdsman sitting atop one of his cows playing the flute for a lady in the foreground. Unsigned. Presented in a reeded black frame and gilt oval slip. On copper.

Condition

Evidence of bitumen deterioration. Surface marks and craquelure. Wear, marks and small losses to the frame and slip.
