I received this e-mail from a helpful eBayer: was very interested to see this listing, along with the others you have from Dorothy Cafferata, as she was my grandfather's aunt. Her full name was Dorothy Margaret Cafferata.
Dorothy Cafferata was born in Nottingham on 18th September 1893, the youngest of 13 children of a very well to do family of plaster manufacturers. Her share of the family business gave her an income of at least £100 per year in the 1930s so she was better off than many other people. In her will she left just over £3000.
She died of cancer on 9th October 1938 in London. She never married & didn't have any descendants.
I don't know much about her professional life, but the most commonly occurring of her works to come onto the market is the book "Hints on Horsemanship" by Colonel McTaggart, which she illustrated.
Here's a picture of Dorothy Cafferata that was taken sometime around 1908-1910. She's the girl sitting on the low bench in the foreground. She's pictured along with two of her sisters, Helen and Beatrice. Feel free to use this picture as you wish.
