Dina Beraha-Coheme - Signed French 1955 Acrylic Still Life with Fruit

Description

A vibrant and expressionist style still life of a table top with fruit, plates and a jug. Presented in a period frame typical of the 1950s style. The name 'Beraha-Coheme' is inscribed on the reverse. We do not know much about the artist, but her name suggests she if of French and Jewish descent. Signed and dated. On board.

Condition

There are some small surface abrasions, mainly to the right hand edge. A tiny paint loss on the edge of the painting underneath the signature. However, the overall appearances is very good. Inspection under UV light shows no signs of restoration. Frame has some minor wear.
