Digby Page was born in Derby in 1945. He first took up painting in 1971 when he was working as head of advertising at a local engineering firm. After several years combining art with his career, he turned professional in 1977. Since then he has earned a living as a professional artist producing a varied range of originals for galleries across the U.K. With his command of colour and distinctive style he has become a very popular artist nationwide.
Digby Page has had numerous one-man exhibitions around the Midlands area, one of which had paintings featured on BBC television. The type of work he produces includes landscapes, still-life, Victorian street scenes and coastal views, in oils, acrylics and watercolours.
Digby has work in many private collections across the world, including USA, the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Europe.
