A semi-abstract still life painting depicting an interior scene with a collection of objects arranged on a small circular table with sheet music and a large string instrument to the background. Signed by the artist to the lower right. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
Some marks and light scratches to the surface of the painting. Light wear to the edges of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. The overall condition of the artwork is good.

Artist Biography
Painter, draughtsman and designer, born in London, who studied design in Paris. After war service in Burma he continued his art studies in Rome and Paris, where he lived from 1953-62. He later returned to England, living in Hampton Court, Middlesex.
