Daphne Padden (1927-2009) was the daughter of Percy Padden ARCA. Following in the footsteps of her artistic family, she became a successful poster designer working for a number of prominent British transport companies. As her work has a distinctive graphic quality, mostly created using cut-paper collage. Later in life she pursued a career as a fine artist, producing wildlife paintings on a miniature scale.
