A delightful oil on board of an elderly fisherman smoking his pipe whilst sat with a drink. The artist has sometimes been known as Konstantin Stoitzner, however has been known to sign as C. Stoitzner as is to the lower left of this work. The work has been frame in an elegant gilt frame. On panel.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and areas of restoration throughout.

Artist Biography
Constantin Stoitzner was born in Czech Republic and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. He worked in Vienna as a freelance artist and was the head of the Association of Austrian Artists between 1914 and 1923 Stoitzner received numerous awards as an artist and was already very successful during his lifetime.
