Description

This pastoral oil painting depicts cattle grazing in an overgrown landscape beneath a moody, cloud-filled sky that dominates the upper portion of the composition. The artist employs a muted earth-tone palette to capture the serene rural scene, with the livestock rendered in warm browns and whites against the darker, atmospheric background. Well presented in a carved wood frame. Signed slightly indistinctly with the initials C.T at the lower right corner. On board.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some surface dirt and minor surface marks. Some light scuffs to the frame.
