Constance Fenn NEAC - Original Mid 20th Century Linoprint. Printed on Windsor Newton blindstamped paper. With the artist's studio stamp to lower. Unsigned. In fine condition.

Constance Fenn (1933-2001) was a member of the New English Art Club and was a well-known painter in oils of landscapes, river and urban scenes. She was born in London and studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts 1948-50 then at the Royal College of Art 1950-54 where she won the prestigious Abbey Scholarship to Rome. Connie Fenn exhibited at the Royal Academy 1956-72 and at the New English Art Club 1958-74, of which group she became a member in 1969. She also exhibited with Wildenstein in central London and had solo shows at the Zaydler Gallery 1973 and Imperial College 1975. After her death an exhibition of work from her studio was held at Duncan Campbell Fine Art in London W8 in August 2005. Examples of her work are held in the collections of the Royal College of Art, Camden Council and Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery Carlisle.
