A pair of detailed oval watercolours depicting surfaced Royal Navy submarines. One depicts H.M. Submarine A11, an A-Class submarine built in the first decade of the 20th century, with sailors stood on the conning tower. The name of the vessel is inscribed below the painting and there is the artist's monogram within the painting to the lower-right edge. The other depicts H.M. Submarine V.3.
