Description
This accomplished crayon study depicts two sisters sat on a block in bandeau dressed and their hair wrapped on to of their heads. The artist uses bold lines to capture the features of the pair, using light and shadows to create depth within the portrait. Signed to the lower right. Presented in a glazed black lacquer frame. Artist Biography
Christopher Stevens from Staines, Middlesex studied art at t Somerset College of Art, Brighton Polytechnic, and Central School of Art. He then lectured at Brighton Polytechnic while continuing as a practising artist. He has exhibited widely with work shown in Piccadilly Gallery, South East Arts Collection, National Portrait Gallery and Andrew Mummery Gallery.
