Christopher Catlin RBA - (British 1902-1977) pencil drawing entitled Mrs. Thompson. Monogrammed and dated 11.12.22. The light/dark patching isn't as bad as it appears in the photo.
From a collection of portraits and caricatures we acquired, all are either signed or monogrammed.
Christopher Catlin was a self-taught artist, painting mainly in pastel and tempera. He was a great friend of Orovida Pissarro, who purchased Catlin a house in Fulham. He was a member of the RBA and showed at the Royal Academy
