American artist best known for her work in the print medium. Christine McGinnis was born in Philadelphia and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her work in represented in numerous museums, galleries and private collections. Temple University (in Philadelphia) gifted 150 of her engravings to Japan when the school established a campus in Tokyo.
